| Export will improve from July 2009 |

The Federation of Indian Export Organisation (FIEO) said that the country had passed through the worst phase on the export front and that it sees as upturn from July 2009. In a statement, the FIEO President Mr. A. Sakthivel said the the modest 3.4 per cent increase in exports in 2008-09 was largely due to lack of global demand, primarily on account of recession in the US , Europe and Japan. |
